Founded in 2001
The Fellas Golf Association (FGA) was founded in March 2001 at Stevens Park Golf Course in Dallas, Texas. What began as a shared vision among four men—James Durham, Lincoln Browder, Craig Martin, and Marcus Riley—quickly grew into something greater than the game itself.
Just four months later, in July 2001, eight individuals gathered in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, for the first annual FGA golf tournament. Those eight men became the official founders and continue to be recognized as the organization’s governing board: Lincoln Browder, James Durham, Craig Martin, Marcus Riley, Charles Harris, Byron Summerfield, Michael Love, and Nick Riley.
From the beginning, FGA has stood on three core principles: fellowship, faith, and growth. The order is intentional—fellowship comes first, because the relationships we build are the foundation for everything else.
Today, the Fellas Golf Association proudly welcomes all who share in these values, both on and off the course.
